Physical Therapy: First Visit

Please download and click here for your New Patient Information Form. Simply print this form and complete the information and bring it with you on your first visit. This will speed your first visit and will help us serve you better.

The first step is calling for an appointment. At that time, feel free to ask any questions you may have regarding insurance, treatment costs and procedures. If your questions are more specific to treatment protocols, The Doctors will gladly return your call as soon as possible.

First appointments usually take 45 minutes to 1 hour. Arriving fifteen minutes early is recommended, as there are several information sheets and health questioner to be completed prior to examination. Please keep in mind that these forms only take a few minutes and often provide important information pertaining to your condition.

A complete history, neurological, orthopedic, physical and applied kinesiology exam will then be conducted to assess your condition and its prognosis with chiropractic care. We will then discuss these findings; recommendations and treatment plan; and any further questions you may have. Frequency of care is based on individual schedule; nature and severity of injury; and treatment protocols. Each case is assessed on an individual basis and care is focused on an expeditious and long-lasting recovery.

If necessary, we will refer you for X-rays. We will review and do a report of findings. X-ray facilities are available in the Sicklerville office building also within a mile from our Atco and Hammonton Office. While not routinely taken on every patient, an X-ray is often an important part of diagnosis for many patients.

Patients have enjoyed better health and well being from the benefits of this safe and effective treatment.

Our Doctors will customize a treatment plan for you that may include one or more physiotherapies. They will decide according to the severity of your condition, what needs to happen; chiropractic adjustments, possibly in conjunction with physiotherapies such as  interferential electrotherapy, cry therapy (or ice), Heat , traction, spinal exercise  and massage. A plan to get you from Crisis or Acute Care to Wellness Care will be the goal for your future health care needs.
